Barry and I had the privilege of being taken out to dinner last Friday evening by CAO master Blender Rick Rodriguez from General Cigar. The guys came to Virgil Ave to visit with old friends and hang out. Many of our customers got to talk about CAO blends and the nature of the industry with true insiders. Rick came with beverages in hand and we enjoyed some drinks and cigars before going to dinner. We made reservations at Restaurante’ Amici on Elmwood avenue in Kenmore. This is not only a great place to dine but also owned by our good friend Ace. Ace and his staff did a great job! We were welcomed like family. We enjoyed outstanding appetizer’s, entrees’ and a couple bottles wine. Rick, Urey and Gary said that their meals were the best they had while on the road, and these guys get around. When old friends get together for business over great food and drink it takes our relationships to a different level. I’m proud to say these people are more than just cigar reps doing their job there our good friends. We look forward to many more of these dinners in the future. Thanks for a great evening
